Reed straws by Straws&Stuff. Wolfhead Distillery
Danielle Moldovan of Wolfhead Distillery knew instantly why she needed reed straws that a Vancouver-based Straws&Stuff offered her. Besides being sturdy and thus ideal for cocktails and other drinks, which the craft distillery located near Windsor, ON sells, and also environmentally-friendly (100% biodegradable), the straws are made in Ukraine.
The distillery will donate $5 from the sale of each pack of straws to support the Red Cross’ humanitarian efforts in Ukraine. Straws&Stuff engraved the straws with the Wolfhead logo on Ukrainian-made laser engraving machine.
The reed straws by Straws&Stuff will not just help the planet by reducing the use of plastic straws, they will help Ukraine weather the current hardships caused by the Russian invasion. They will also become a valuable part of the efforts to rebuild Ukraine’s economy after the war. Ukraine harvests the second largest crop of reed globally after China.
