UNF and New Pathway – Ukrainian News express condolences on passing of Ron Cahute

The Ukrainian National Federation of Canada expresses sincere condolences on the passing of Ron Cahute, long time member of the UNF Toronto Branch, musician, composer and performer.

Ron's contribution to the Ukrainian National Federation of Canada extends back 5 decades and include his leadership as the conductor of the Kalyna Orchestra, tours, performances and orchestrations for the Kalyna Dance Ensemble as well as countless Zabava's, Concerts and Comedy Nights. His work leaves a lasting mark on the Ukrainian-Canadian community and his legacy will live on in the shared memories of all of us. We thank him for all that he has done for the UNF and the broader Ukrainian Canadian communiity.

Ron was a wonderful personality and a good friend of New Pathway – Ukrainian News. He appreciated our newspaper and has given us wonderful leads for articles. We mourn the departure of a fellow media person who has captivated audiences with his “Stay Ukrainian My Friends” TV show for so many years. We will miss him greatly.
