The Holodomor Icon displayed at Hamilton Seniors Club

Wednesday November 29, 2023, in honour of Holodomor the participants of the Hamilton Seniors Club all dressed in their Ukrainian shirts and participated in a simple lunch of soup and rye bread.

The seniors listened to a description of the Holodomor Icon and all its various components representing Holodomor (sad faces of the Virgin Mary and Jesus, arm bands worn by both, tears all throughout, etc.).
The seniors recited a prayer for all the victims and had one of the Seniors members, who survived the Holodomor, speak briefly.
