The participants enjoyed the inspiring address from Alexandra Chyczij, National President of Ukrainian Canadian Congress.
Alexandra Chyczij spoke on this history of the women’s rights movements in Canada and Ukraine, as well as her own story. She reminded us that Canadian women took on new roles for the first time in Canada’s past wars, just as Ukrainian women heroically defend their people and land on the frontlines of battle and in the towns and cities of Ukraine today.
