Borys Horodynsky (pictured here with John Brassard – MP Barrie-Innisfil, who is on the right) every year hosts carolling parties at his farm in Innisfil, ON.
This year, on the evening of January 4, Horodynsky welcomed Levada Women’s and Orion Men’s Choirs, Vanguard Concert/Marching Band, the Toronto Bandurist Capella and Vesnianka Ukrainian Dance Ensemble.
The evening was full of fun and joint carolling with numerous guests, among them local councillors, MPP Andrea Khanjin and Innisfil’s Mayor Lynn Dollin.
Zhanna Zinchenko conducted the Levada choir and Roman Yasinsky led the Vanguard Band. Victor Mishalow, who conducted the Orion choir and the bandurist capella throughout, narrated the melodeclamation “Twas the Night Before Christmas”. Ron Cahute played the accordion for the sing-along.
