On Saturday, August 26th, 2023, UNF Camp Sokil held their always anticipated Annual Golf Tournament. Each year golfers from across the GTA come together to experience a fun day playing their beloved sport while supporting Camp Sokil.
The day started early for the Organizers who were on hand to greet the golfers at Shanty Bay Golf Club in Oro-Medonte. It was a lovely, sunshiny day and everyone was in great spirits. After registering, all the golfers received a ‘goody bag” consisting of blue and yellow golf balls, tasty snacks, gifts sponsored by Ukrainian Credit Union Ltd. and Synchroworks Consulting along with many other goodies.
The shotgun start went off precisely at 11am and the games began. 65 golfers honed their skills and spent a beautiful day of camaraderie and competition.
The Banquet dinner was held at the Golf Course and a multitude of prizes were given out.
Notably, Banquet MC, Eugene Masney honored past participants with In Memoriam awards, namely: Slawko Kowal and Dmytro Badiwsky.

The Tournament raised the impressive amount of $12,788.47 which will go directly to supporting Camp Sokil.
