Almost 1600 attended this year’s Friends Ukrainian Music Fest at the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village (UCHV), located 50 kilometres east of Edmonton, August 27.
“It was a beautiful day to celebrate the very best of Ukrainian-Canadian music. We appreciate the role of Steven Chwok to organize the Friends Ukrainian Music Fest concert. In addition to the long-time bands and musicians that support this annual festival, we feel fortunate that he was able to introduce three new bands to the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village stage.
“Thank you to the Friends of the Ukrainian Village Society and all the volunteers who supported this event,” said UCHV Director David Makowsky.
