UCC Encourages Ukrainian Canadian Youth to Apply for Prime Minister’s Youth Council

The Ukrainian Canadian Congress (UCC) encourages young members of our community, aged 16 to 24, to apply for the Prime Minister of Canada’s Youth Council.

According to the Government of Canada, the Prime Minister’s Youth Council is “A body of young Canadians aged 16 to 24, who will provide non-partisan advice to the Prime Minister on national issues such as employment, access to education, building stronger communities as well as climate change and clean growth, among others.”

The application process for the Prime Minister’s Youth Council was launched today. You have until August 12 to join the first wave of Youth Council members who will meet with the Prime Minister in early October 2016. You have until October 7 to join the second wave of members who will meet with the inaugural members and the Prime Minister in 2017.
