The Alberta Council for the Ukrainian Arts (ACUA) in partnership with the Ukrainian Canadian Art Foundation (UCAF)/KUMF Gallery (Toronto) are thrilled to announce that “Canvas Canada – Exhibit “i” raised over $25,000.
Thank you bidders for going beyond our expectations and making this such a successful auction.
Exhibit “i” featured 157 works of Ukrainian and Canadian artists from across the country. Each piece is an original work and was created specifically for Exhibit “i” on a 10 x 10 canvas and all exhibited anonymously. The identity of the artist appears on the back of the artwork.
The Auction with a “twist” went live on Waddington’s online auction platform on October 21st and ran through to October 31st.
