This past Saturday, April 12th, 2015, Rezonans Studio invited families young and old in the Ukrainian Canadian community to join them at St. Demetrius the Great Martyr Church Hall for “Festival Гей летить Гаївка!”.
The memorable spring afternoon featured singing and dancing, a special concert, Easter themed photo session, children`s crafts and games, the largest pysanka in Toronto and an oil paintings exhibition by Ihor Polishchuk.
Children laughed and sang while participating in special Ukrainian dances done at Easter called Haivky. Many attending wearing their traditional embroidered shirts enjoyed paska, refreshments and great entertainment.
Rezonans is a Ukrainian Children's performing studio in Toronto that offers many programs for children to develop their singing and dancing skills, specifically pop singing, choreography, acting and playing musical instruments. Rezonans also offers school lunch programs for JK to grade 4 in which children learn how to sing and speak Ukrainian.
